Vuori K9 was founded by Jake Hutchinson in 2021 to address a growing need for mission capable SAR dogs and handlers in all human scent related disciplines. He brings over 25 years of SAR experience including deployments, course development and instruction and organizational expertise. In addition to training dog teams, he has participated in dozens of puppy selections for SAR organizations and raises and trains pups from 7 weeks to operational status. He was one of the primary developers and instructors for the inaugural K9 Foundations online course at CSU Pueblo and serves as an advisor and instructor for Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment.
